2. What Data We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact information — name and email address when you subscribe to our mailing list or request a free chapter.
- Purchase information — name, email address, and payment details when you buy the eBook or a paid diagnostic report. Payment card data is processed securely by our payment providers (Payhip, Razorpay, or PayPal, depending on how you pay) and is never stored on our servers.
- Usage data — pages visited, time spent on site, browser type, and referring URLs, collected via cookies and analytics tools to help us improve the website.
- Communications — any messages you send us via email or contact forms.
- Diagnostic/quiz responses — when you take a self-assessment tool on this site (such as The Setback Test), your answers are scored entirely in your browser and are never sent to us. If you choose to share your email afterward, we receive only your email address, first name, and which result you got — never your individual answers.
- Deep report answers — if you purchase the personal deep report, your answers to the extended 26-question set, including free-text responses, are transmitted to us and processed to generate your report. Unlike the free diagnostic, these answers are not scored in your browser alone.
3. How We Collect Your Data
We collect data through:
- Email sign-up forms on this website (powered by ConvertKit / Kit or MailerLite, depending on the page), each with its own opt-in checkbox describing what you're signing up for
- Free diagnostic tools on this website (e.g., The Setback Test) — only if you choose to share your email to receive more on your result
- The eBook or paid-report purchase process (powered by Payhip, Razorpay, or PayPal, depending on the product)
- Website analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, if enabled)
- Direct email correspondence with us
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
- Deliver the eBook and any other products you purchase
- Send you the email welcome sequence and ongoing updates about the book (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support
- Improve the website and understand how visitors engage with our content
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Where We're Based, and Where You Might Be
Seek Seed Grow Press operates from India, but this website, its free diagnostic tools, and the eBook are used by people all over the world. Privacy law varies by country, so the specific legal rights available to you can depend on where you're located — Sections 6, 7, and 8 below set those out separately, for India, for the UK/EEA, and for everywhere else.
Whichever of those applies to you, though, one thing doesn't change: we apply the same baseline commitment to every visitor and test-taker, regardless of location. We collect only what's described in Section 2, we never sell your data, and we will honor a reasonable request to access, correct, or delete your personal data no matter where in the world you're writing to us from.
6. Your Rights If You're in India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
If you're based in India, your data is processed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, alongside the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules where they continue to apply. We collect and use your data only for the purposes stated in this policy, and only with your consent where consent is our basis for processing. You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction and erasure — ask us to correct inaccurate data or erase it, subject to any legal requirement we have to retain it.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, as easily as you gave it — this doesn't affect any processing already carried out before you withdrew.
- Nominate — appoint another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity. Contact us if you'd like to register a nominee.
- Grievance redressal — raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (contact below); we aim to resolve it within 90 days, per the DPDP Rules.
- This website is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect data from, anyone under the age of 18. If we learn we have collected data from someone under 18 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it.

7. Your Rights If You're in the UK or European Economic Area — GDPR
We process your data under the following legal bases:
- Consent — when you voluntarily subscribe to our mailing list or tick a consent checkbox.
- Contract — when processing is necessary to fulfil your eBook or report purchase.
- Legitimate interests — for website analytics and improving our services, balanced against your privacy rights.
You additionally have the right to:
- Access, rectification, and erasure — as in Section 6.
- Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability — receive your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — for example, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're in the UK.

8. Your Rights If You're Located Elsewhere
Privacy law is still developing in many countries, and we're not always specifically registered under, or required to comply with, every regional framework — for example, the United States doesn't yet have a single federal privacy law, and state laws such as California's CCPA/CPRA have thresholds (based on revenue and data volume) that a site this size doesn't currently meet. That said, we extend the same practical rights to every visitor, wherever you are: you can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we don't sell personal data to anyone, in any jurisdiction. 9. Cross-Border Data Transfer
Because the third-party services we use (see Section 10) are based in different countries, your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the one you're in — including the United States and the European Union, where several of these providers operate. If you're in India, this is permitted under the DPDP Act by default: the Indian government maintains a list of countries personal data cannot be sent to, and none are currently on that list. Wherever your data travels, it stays subject to the commitments in this policy and to each provider's own privacy and security practices, linked in Section 10.
10. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted third-party services that may process your data:
- Amazon KDP (amazon.com) — paperback and Kindle eBook sales and distribution.
- ConvertKit / Kit (kit.com) — email marketing platform for our welcome sequence and newsletters. Kit Privacy Policy →

- Razorpay and PayPal — payment processing for certain paid products (e.g., a personal diagnostic report), where offered.
- Anthropic (Claude API) (anthropic.com) — if you purchase the personal deep report, your extended answers are sent directly to Anthropic's API to generate your report; no separate automation platform is involved. Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements, and — as noted in Section 9 — several process data outside India.
11. Cookies
This website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function correctly (e.g., a checkout session).
- Analytics cookies — to understand how visitors use the site (e.g., Google Analytics, if enabled). These are only set with your consent.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling essential cookies may affect checkout functionality.
12. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary:
- Diagnostic quiz answers — never stored by us; they exist only in your browser while you take the test and are discarded once you leave the page.
- Deep report answers — handled differently from free diagnostic responses. They are stored only for as long as needed to generate and deliver your report and to handle any related support or refund request, no longer than 30 days after delivery, after which they are permanently deleted, except where a longer period is required by law. If our review process flags an answer as indicating a potential mental health crisis, that specific submission is retained only long enough for a human to review it and respond appropriately, and is deleted on the same schedule once that review is complete. Deep report answers are never used for any purpose beyond generating your report and, where applicable, responding to a flagged submission — never for marketing, training, or any purpose you have not agreed to.
- Email subscribers — until you unsubscribe, after which data is deleted within 30 days.
- Purchase records — retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance purposes.
- Analytics data — retained for no longer than 14 months, in line with our analytics platform's settings, after which it's automatically deleted.
13. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption on all pages. Payment information is handled exclusively by our payment providers (Payhip, Razorpay, and PayPal) using PCI DSS-compliant infrastructure — we never see or store your card details.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at, or intended for use by, children. We apply a single, consistent threshold to every visitor worldwide, regardless of local law: a "child" is anyone under the age of 18, matching India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
15. Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to external sites (e.g., Payhip, Razorpay, PayPal, social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
